Message from our new Neighbourhood Policing Officer – please report incidents!

Our new(ish) Neighbourhood Policing Officer, PC Jez Oldroyd was around Kingsgrove on Wednesday 23 July showing around our MP, Olly Glover.

Reporting antisocial behaviour

Jez’s message was clear in that he needs people to report incidents online (assuming it is not an emergency). I have created a memorable shortcut link – https://kingsgrove-residents.co.uk/go/report-asb

Once the police have the data and trends from the incident reports, they are in a much better place to be able to deploy the necessary resources to help deal with the problems that are affecting Kingsgrove. If they don’t know about an incident, how can they be expected to deal with it?

Reporting anonymously

If you want to report something anonymously, use Crimestoppers, though it might take a little longer for the information to get through to the correct people.

Wantage & Grove Policing Survey

PC Oldroyd also asked for the ‘Wantage and Grove Policing Survey‘ to be publicised. This is open until Tuesday 5 August 2025.

He is keen for as many people as possible to complete it, so please consider doing so.
