The next Crab Hill Development Forum will be held on Thursday 12 February at Wantage Town Football Club.
About the Crab Hill Development Forum
Occurring once every four months or so, the forum serves as a place to discuss the progress of the development and any matters arising, particularly in relation to planning. It is attended by representatives of Brighton STM Developments, Preim, Vale of White Horse District Council Officers, our Community Development Officer, Wantage Town Council, Oxfordshire County Council Officers, Councillors from Wantage and Grove, Oxfordshire Community Churches, the hub, Wantage Town Football Club and HarBUG.
An opportunity to present residents’ views
Although the Crab Hill Development Forum is a closed meeting, the Kingsgrove Residents Working Group is offered a place on the agenda to make sure that the views of people actually living on the development are heard.
If you have anything that you want raising at this meeting, please get in touch. It is important to note that the meeting discusses matter specific to planning. As a result, questions / comments about service charges and value of money etc aren’t relevant. However, if you have queries about such matters, please get in touch with the Resident Reps.

- Using the S106 Open Space Contributions to help cover the shortfall funding of the hub
- Update on Wantage Town Council’s offer to take over the Woodland Walk
- Update on agreements between Brighton STM Developments and Wantage Town Football Club regarding Central Park facilities – what is included and what is not included
- Future of S106 Open Space Contributions
- Have there been any updates regarding Fullers Field?
- Work to improve the quality of the path between Charlton Village and Rutherford Road
- Is there a separate management company for the various Vistry houses?
- Future of “Lot 3” (aka the pub plot)
- Drainage works, including pumps
- Updates on progress of
- retail units
- housing areas
- the hub
- resurfacing of roads
- Central Park facilities
- Play Park (West)
