Events went with a bang this afternoon as local dignitaries and residents gathered to mark the official groundbreaking ceremony for the Kingsgrove Community Hub!
Eileen White, chair of trustees, helped people imagine the building as it will be, once complete, listing all of the facilities that will be available. Then Neil Townsend of Oxfordshire Community Churches spoke about the ‘history’ of getting a comminity building at Kingsgrove and of the struggles, and the sheer amount of work that it has taken to get to this stage to this stage. Everyone agreed that the Community Hub will have a tremendous positive effect on the residents of Kingsgrove and the wider community.
