Planning has been refused for the retirement apartments.
Vale of White Horse District Council hereby gives notice that planning permission is REFUSED for the carrying out of the development referred to above for the following reason(s) :
- In the absence of a completed S106 agreement to secure financial contributions towards off-site affordable housing, public transport services, primary healthcare, public art, street naming, waste bin provision, household waste and recycling centres, and a BNG monitoring fee, the proposal would place increased pressure on these facilities and fail to provide the environmental, social and recreational services needed to support this development. This is considered contrary to core policies CP7, CP24, CP33, CP35 and CP46 of the Vale of White Horse Local Plan 2031 Part 1 and development policies DP20 and DP28 of the Vale of White Horse Local Plan 2031 Part 2.
