I have just been made aware that the Pavilion car park will be closed to the public until August to allow the development surrounding it to be completed safely.
From what I can understand the school is providing access to the school car park but only during drop-off & pick-up times.
I have checked the relevant documents (Construction Environmental Management Plan) in the planning applications for the Vistry / Bovis development and for the Central Park development and can see no reference to the car park needing to be closed.
St. Modwen will be updating the issue tracker with this information but I thought it worth making sure that more people knew.
It is certainly disappointing that this wasn’t brought to my attention at the Crab Hill Development Forum or the broader Kingsgrove residents through the normal communication methods.
