Coming home to Kingsgrove (at least)
Football may, or may not, be ‘coming home’ but one thing is for sure – ‘Picnic on the Pitch‘ is coming to Kingsgrove this Sunday 19 July.
What’s happening
It will be a chance to bring along a picnic to enjoy on the new smaller football pitch, in front of the sports pavilion.
Meet your neighbours, play some giant garden games, take part in a crafting activity as well as find out information about the wonderful development we call home.
Competitions
There will be two competitions that you will be able to participate in, both judged by the Mayor of Wantage.
- A light-hearted dog show, with such classes as “Cutest Puppy“, “Golden Oldies“, “Gorgeous Gals & Fab Fellas” and “Best Dressed Dog“!
- A fancy dress competition for those children under 11.
Food & Drink
The following food vans and bars will be there with items available for purchase but you are still more than welcome to simply bring all your own food & drink.
