When & where
On Sunday 19 July, from 1pm till 3pm, we will be holding ‘Picnic on the Pitch‘!
As you might have guessed, this will take place at the new Kingsgrove Sports Pavilion.
It will be a chance to bring along a picnic to enjoy on the new smaller football pitch, in front of the sports pavilion. Whilst you are there, you could take a sneaky look around the pavilion to see what it, and Wantage Town Football Club, might have to offer you.
Developer Information
Drop by for a check-in and chat with those organisations active on our estate, including Preim, the community development officer, representatives from the housing providers, and the resident reps!
Competitions
There will be two competitions that you will be able to participate in, both judged by the Mayor of Wantage.
Dog show
We are pleased to announce that there will be a light-hearted dog show, with such classes as “Cutest Puppy“, “Golden Oldies“, “Gorgeous Gals and Fab Fellas” and “Best Dressed Dog“!
Children’s fancy dress
Does your child like fancy dress? Dressing up as a Marvel or Disney character or their favourite star from the TV?
If so, join us for our age-based fancy dress competition for those children under 11.
